This pond consisted of 5,000 CY of excavation and 10,000 CY of embankment, and was lined with a 40-mil HDPE geomembrane liner covered with a layer of cobbles. Work also entailed: installation of an outlet structure with stop logs and gate, 8″ HDPE outlet piping, 6″ HDPE inlet supply piping (including approximately 1,000′ of slip-lining underneath two highways). Various landscaping features, a parking lot, trails, and structures were added to complete this landmark project on the banks of the Columbia River.
